plot
No one knows when the first person noticed their powers. Maybe it was a few thousand years ago, maybe even further. There’s tales rooted in the history of people with special powers and how they changed the world. The stories of the people blessed by the Gods in their life. Each possessed a skill unknown to man and unable to comprehend in one way or another. So, we dismissed them as freak heroes.Though a hero cannot be made without darkness and without a villain to fight. The path to heroism is not forged in the light alone; it is the darkness that shapes the soul, and the villains that challenge the hero's resolve. You don’t have your name written in stone simply being the strongest or smartest in a room. No, you have to prove why you’re worthy of that stone. We have to push ourselves to the edge to prove that we’re worthy of being called a hero. That we deserve to be praised. We live in a world where it’s common for a zodiac to be born with a power. Uncommon for them to be born with two or none at all. Some born on cusps are a lucky rarity to sometimes have both abilities from the zodiac they are born under. And even more rare for them to be born with all three. In a world where you think everyone would treat each other equally or may even punish those without powers, it is those with them that are at risk from everyone – including their own kind. Sold in markets often underground, but some dare to boast about their dark deeds to the world. No one really cares. Soldiers are needed. Healers are a necessity. Spies are hard to come by. Protection is needed for survival. If you are one of the unlucky few born with three powers or a cusp there’s an even greater danger for you out there. You are coveted by the powerful, wealthy, and rich. They’re dangerous and they want everything you have to give them. They will use you and they don’t care who finds out.So, if you can run, run. If you can hide, hide. And most importantly; surround yourself with allies you trust. We will make sure their world crumbles. We won’t stop until everyone is free.Trigger Warnings Ahead: Themes of violence, guns, blood, abuse, trauma, mental illness, crude language, people being sold, and darker themes explored.

Can I use your bots/world for my own characters? As of right now, no. Maybe I'll open up this later for people to make their own bots in this world. But please don't make any without permission. Also, don't steal these characters to make your own. This character is similar to this character. I know, as I said this world is inspired by what I like to call "COD meets X-Men", so there might be similar characters if not AUs of those characters in this world. Will you link the rp? Maybe one day. The roleplay isn't open as of right now. That and I know it's 18+ like janitorai, however I do not feel comfortable sharing it just yet. You can guess and go looking if you'd like, but I won't directly link it right now.I wanna request X character. Can I? Of course! My requests are open and available for you to send on in~Hey, the mental health rep on this one character is inaccurate... I understand I cannot get everything perfect, but I try. I don't want to misrepresent anyone or anything so please, if you see inaccuracies let me know. I'm more than willing to fix things and I'm always learning. As I said, I'm not expert on mental health, but I try my best with research.
SETTING: Sci-fi, cyberpunk, futuristic

terminology
there's a few terms used in the world that may or may not need explaining. but to better help you build your own character(s) when rping with the bots and understand the characters i made this little page just for you <3
ZODIACS Everyone is born under a certain zodiac. Your character can be born with or without powers, that is up to you. Each zodiac has specific powers that they are born under. You may use the list to choose 0-3 powers you wish for your character to have. Some are more rare than others, so keep that in mind when building.
CUSPS Those born within 3 days of another zodiac can sometimes have a mixture of both zodiac powers. Usually they lean more toward the original zodiac they are born under with their powers. Cusps are born within 3 days before or after the dates of a change. Meaning if a character is born June 21st they are a Gemini with a Taurus cusp. They don't have to have the powers of a Taurus as well if you don't want them to. Cusps are rare, but not as rare as those born with 3 abilities.
CAPTAIN These are the leaders of the Operations. They decide missions and ultimately decide who's allowed to stay, live, leave, or die within the ranks of the Operation. They're also responsible for promotions within the Operation. At the end of the day, they run the Operations and what the goals are for said Operation. They don't often take Members or Recruits to mentor as their lives are often busy with other things, but sometimes take one. Usually Captain is earned by rising in the ranks in whatever means the Operation states, but some have been known to inherit it from birth.
EXECUTIVE COMMANDER They advise and help their Captain, think of them as a right-hand man/woman. The Executive Commander often keeps reports on Members and are above all of them except the Captain. They can delve out punishments where necessary and according to rules and regulations set by their Captain. Sometimes they can take one Member or Recruit to mentor in the realm of their Operation. They know the ins and outs of their Operation well enough to lead others and advise their Captain according to the Operation traditions and values.
OFFICERS The Officers of an Operation are often the ones who report to the Executive Commander or Captain. They keep an eye on all members and often have 1-2 Sergeants under them that they have at their disposal to relay commands and information they get from their higher-ups. They're often the ones working behind the scenes to make sure that everyone is trained up and ready to go when the time comes for missions. They're also known to take on a Member or Recruit to mentor.
SERGEANTS They're above Members and Recruits and have some leadership but not as much as those above them. They often take on 1-2 Recruits or Members to mentor and train in the ways of the Operation. They're able to give orders to Members as long as they come from the higher-up positions. Sergeants lead the Members into missions more often than most.
MEMBERS These people have passed trials, hazing, and/or more in order to become a part of an Operation. They don't have a say in almost anything and aren't allowed to take Recruits to mentor them unless a Captain deems it necessary. If they've been with the Operation long enough and know the rules well enough, a Captain might allow them. But it is rare and must go through the Captain.
RECRUITS In order to become a part of an Operation a character is considered a Recruit at first. They aren't privy to a lot of information within the Operation until they deem them worthy enough and promote them to a Member. Often this results in tests, hazing, and teaching things until it is decided by the Captain that the Recruit is ready to become a Member of the Operation.
MASTER ASSASSINS These assassins have been a part of the Operation for years. They are the ones who lead the assassins in the Operation but they still have to report to the Captain and Executive Commander. Often going to the Executive Commander first, only going to the Captain when things are urgent or a mission was specifically set to return to the Captain for orders. They often take one Initiate under their wing to mentor when they first wish to join the Operation.
VETERANS They've been a part of the Operation long enough to know everything. They are highly skilled and some have even been in Operations longer than Master Assassins, some just wish to not have the higher rank. They may take one Initiate to mentor, but do not mentor Apprentices. Once an Initiate becomes an Apprentice they are no longer allowed to be mentored so closely.
APPRENTICES Once someone passes the trials of their Veteran or Master Assassin, they become Apprentices. Determined to have enough skill to not be so closely mentored by their higher-ups. They still require some training and supervision by Veterans and Master Assassins, but not as much. They are not allowed to mentor Initiates, not even if the Captain says so.
INITIATES If someone wishes to join the ranks of assassins within an Operation, they must start off as Initiates first. One either starts as an Initiate for the Operation or a Recruit. Members cannot become assassin Initiates, but if an Initiate fails for any reason and the Operation wishes to keep them in some way, they can become normal Members for the Operation. That is, if the failure isn't great enough.
